My husband, David, and I gave birth to our first child, Samantha Abigail, on April 27, 2005. It was the most amazing experience of our lives! We had her naturally and in the comfort of our own home. With our second baby we wanted the same thing, but added the element of a birth tub. We had our second little girl, Elliott Mae, at home in the tub on May 20, 2007. Our third baby girl, Josephine Anne, arrived May 16, 2010, our cup runith over! Each birth was unique. Each birth has been more empowering to me as a mother and a woman. Each birth has brought my husband and I closer. And we get to do it all again in early August!!!
During my first pregnancy, a passion for educating woman about the importance of natural childbirth began to grow. Then, after making it through a long first time labor without the help of drugs or other medical intervention, I knew I had to empower other woman with knowledge so that they could do the same!
We had attended Bradley classes and I felt it was the perfect avenue for my passion to become a Bradley teacher myself. I studied hard and enjoyed every minute of it! I now look forward to each class with enthusiasm and confidence in what The Bradley Method® teaches.
