Teacher Website Image Hi, My name is Annette Culp and I have been a Bradley Method educator since 1997.   I have four children.  My first was born by C-section and the other three were wonderful VBAC's.  Education and preparation are definately important to having a positive natural birth, as I have learned the hard way.  I have also been blessed to attend over 200 births as a certified doula and/or apprentice midwife in both home and hospital settings.  Hopefully in 2013 when Atlanta gets their first Free Standing Birth Center, I will be blessed to attend births there too!

The class series is a complete course in Natural Childbirth covering: nutrition, exercise, pregnancy, relaxation, avoiding unnecessary pain, how to help labor progress, active positive coaching, birth plans, avoiding unnecessary medical interventions, how to make informed choices, extensive breast feeding education, communication skills and basic newborn care plus much more.  The atmosphere is very relaxed where students are free to have open communication during class discussion.  To ensure individual attention, class size is limited to 8 couples.  It is never too soon to register and never too late.

I have two teaching locations.  The Thursday evening class is easily located just off I-75 at Wade Green Rd.  The Thursday evening class is held from 7-9 pm with a new series beginning every 12 weeks.

The Sunday afternoon and the Sunday evening class is held less than 2 miles from the I-75/Hwy 92 exit 7 minutes north of Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw. Coming from the north it is about 15 minutes south of Cartersville.  One series is held from 3-5 pm and a different series is held from 6-8 pm.  A new series usually begins about every 6 weeks at this location alternating between the 3-5 and 6-8 pm class. The Sunday location makes for easy travel of only 30 minutes from down town Atlanta.  No traffic on Sundays:)

For safety reasons, the address to the class location is given only once registration has been made.

I highly encourage students to attend every class, however things can occasionally occur that are outside our control.  With three different series beginning at different times,  there is usually an opportunity to make up a missed class when necessary.

The tuition is 325 per couple.  A non-refundable 25.00 deposit is required to reserve your space and is included in the tuition.  The tuition includes the class series, student workbook, coach card, certificate and unlimited email and phone support (yes! even at 2 am).  Videos of various births are used to enhance the class experience.

Taking my Bradley Method class ensures that you will be truly informed and able to choose wisely for yourself and your baby.  If having a wonderful birth experience is important to you, take the next step by calling me to register for the next available class.  Allow me to offer my experience to help you prepare for birth.  Personal references are available!   You are also invited to visit a class for a 'pre-purchase' observation.  Just give me a call or email to let me know you are interested in visiting.

Registration has begun for all upcoming series.  There are 3 spaces remaining for the May 10th series and 4 spaces remaining for the June 10th series.Call soon to reserve your space in class.
