My husband and I have had three amazing natural births using
The Bradley Method®. Each of our births was
unique. Our first son, Matthew, was born
in the spring of 2006 in the hospital at 35 weeks, five days gestation. Our second son, Nathan, was born in late 2007
at 39 weeks in an accidental unassisted birth in the car on the way to the
hospital. Our daughter, Sarah, was born in
late 2010, just shy of 40 weeks in a planned home waterbirth. Having such varied experiences gives me
unique perspective and enriches the instruction I offer.
More about me: I hold a Masters of Education and am a
licensed NYC public school Dramatic Arts teacher. I've been
a La Leche League Leader since 2010, leading with both the Hackettstown, NJ and
Staten Island, NY
groups. I recently helped found the Skylands, NJ chapter of BirthNetwork National, a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of the Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative, and lead monthly meetings with them as well.
My family and I moved from NYC
to Budd Lake, NJ
in 2009 and we absolutely love living here.
I am a life long student and self-titled birth and conference junkie. I love doing community theater and knitting,
and I’m interested in all things holistic and natural parenting.
I am so passionate about birthing without fear and I feel
completely honored to be able to help other families during one of the most
amazing, life-changing milestones they’ll ever experience.
