What do you want to know? How weird we are? Depends on who you ask I guess... Nah, we're not all that crazy, but we can be goofy and sarcastic at times. What you can count on with us though is authenticity. We try living our lives in a real way and you'll see it when you show up to class. Don't be scared.
How about I start with some basics... My husband James and I have been happily married for 10+ years. We have a beautiful daughter named Eleanor (we call her Ellie), a boy named Jude and baby girl named Jordyn. They're such a hoot, we couldn't imagine life without them.
Our birth stories? Well, you'll hear it at class. Long story short though, it did not come easy for us to get pregnant. After 4.5 years of trying, one miscarriage and a failed adoption later, we were greatly blessed with the (then) upcoming arrival of little miss Ellie. We had a wonderful experience with our birth, thanks to the Bradley Method® and fellow students. James and I walked into the hospital like we owned the place (in a nice and respectful way of course). We felt comfortable in knowing what we learned in class and made our experience a great one.
Because of the Bradley Method®, the fear and unknown of giving birth, disappeared and we had a wonderful experience. So much so, that we were trained in becoming teachers to help guide you in a natural childbirth done your way. Our hope is that you will look back on your experience with great pride and accomplishment and have a cherished moment forever engraved in your memory.
