If you are viewing this site, then congratulations are in order! Pregnancy can be a very exciting as well as an anxiety provoking time. So many choices to make, and I can guarantee you there is no better start than enrolling in a Bradley class. We had our first son (pictured here with Daddy) using The Bradley Method in March 2004. We were so impressed by the wealth of information we learned in our Bradley classes, and so happy with our labor experience, that I chose to become an instructor.

The Bradley Method also helped us to prepare our then 3 year-old to share in the pregnancy and home birth of our second child in January 2008. **New: We are currently preparing for the home birth of our very special surprise, third child in early 2012.**

Bradley classes are for you even if dad is unavailable to attend. It can be highly beneficial to choose a substitute coach who can "mother" you, such as a sister, mother, or close friend. You may also attend alone if need be.

Classes are small -- averaging 8 couples -- with lots of opportunity for individualized attention to your particular concerns and needs. In addition to 24-28 hours of instruction over the course of our series, your fee includes: a student workbook; a video-enriched curriculum; a complete package of loaned supplemental materials; and telephone support on pregnancy, labor, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum well-being issues as covered in our classes.

One of the best things about The Bradley Method is the special effort given to training dads to be an active participant in the whole process, beginning in pregnancy and continuing through labor and beyond. Quite often the dads seem to enjoy the classes even more than the moms because it helps to make the process less of a mystery and gives them a sense of confidence in their role. I feel that attending a Bradley class series together during pregnancy is an excellent way to give your baby and family the best possible start.
