You can learn the answers to these and many other questions in Bradley Method (R) classes. Thank you for coming to this site to learn about our Bradley classes. I took my teacher training in 1978 and have taught continuously since January, 1979. 

I have had two children by natural childbirth and our sixth grandchild, a curly-headed boy in Indiana who is four years old, was born naturally after his parents took a Bradley (R) class there. Our three teenaged Temecula, CA  grandsons were born by natural childbirth at home or at free-standing birth centers. We have two young great-grandchildren in Florida. My classes are held in the Mission Valley area of San Diego in the office of a client, in the Pacific Beach office of a client if we split a class, and in the La Mesa art studio of a Bradley (R) mother and father.

This year I have often been teaching three class series per week from 7-9 p.m. I alternate between starting a Monday series in La Mesa and a Tuesday series in Mission Valley and will divide to include a Wednesday series in Pacific Beach if either the Monday or Tuesday class has more than 8 registrants.

It may be more than 12 weeks after the announced starting date that we finish with Class 12 since we usually don't have class the weeks of major holidays.  Call for starting and ending dates so you will know which class to choose instead of just counting 12 weeks forward from the posted start dates below.

These  dates could change a week or two but are on the calendar:

If you are due close to or after May 15th, the February 28th through May 15th class would be ideal for you.

If you are due close to or after July 16th, the April 16th to July 16th class would be good.

If you are due around or after August 21, the June 5th to August 21st class would work for you.

For due dates of October 29th or later you could take the August 6th to October 29th class.  

In between each 12-week series I usually have a FREE, introductory Healthy Pregnancy Class to give couples more information about healthy choices in early pregnancy and to give everyone a preview of our classes.  There is a fee discount if you attend a Healthy Pregnancy Class and a referral fee if you send others to it at any time. 

The next  three Healthy Pregnancy Classes are  Tuesday, February 21st, 2012 in Mission Valley,  Monday, April 2nd, 2012 in La Mesa, and May 22, 2012 in Mission Valley. Please bring 2 pillows and a blanket or yoga mat. When you take your regular series, you will receive a Bradley (R) student workbook and have the use of a lending library including required reading books such as newly revised in 2008 "Husband-Coached Childbirth,"  "Children at Birth," "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding," "Natural Childbirth the Bradley (R)  Way," and other wonderful books, videos and DVDs.

We use many DVDs in class and have Show 'n' Tell babies and a presentation by certified lactation consultant Ann Russell, IBCLC and La Leche League leader for 31 years  (and a Bradley (R) grandma!) 

The Bradley (R) fee is only $350 and I take a $50 non-refundable deposit to hold your place in class.  Remember, we can only have 8 couples in each series. The fees are non-refundable.

Several discounts are available for such things as referring another couple, pre-registration 2 weeks or more before the series, or "class projects" which I can explain when you call.
