I am the mother of five children. I used the Bradley Method for each one of my births. I have had a hospital birth, three home births, and a birth center birth. This method works beautifully in all settings.
I found the Bradley Method® after watching Birth Stories on the discovery channel when I was pregnant with my first child. I was intrigued by the stark differences between the natural births and the medicated ones. The women with the natural births seemed more at ease and in control. The babies were more alert and often started breastfeeding immediately. I decided that that was the kind of birth I wanted. As I researched, the Bradley Method® seemed to have the best results. The classes were informative and I made lifelong friendships with some of the other moms in the class. After my first birth, I was hooked.
