My husband, Juan and I, have three daughters and gave birth to our first boy on December 19, 2011! The Bradley Method® played a vital role in preparing for each of our births. I now personally have experience from a full array of births: c-section, medication free hospital VBAC, birth center birth and home birth! The Bradley Method® gave me the support, confidence, and education we needed in order to carry us through our entire pregnancies and births. Having our natural births truly are among the greatest moments of our lives. I have now been teaching The Bradley Method® since 2007 and participate in the B.I.R.T.H Fair every year.
When we first found out we were expecting, I began to research everything I could on how to have a healthy pregnancy and birth. That is how I found The Bradley Method® and couldn't be more grateful! After attending the Bradley classes, all of my husband's hesitancy and skepticism ceased. I did have to have an emergency c-section with my first child (which I can assure you The Bradley Method® still was of crucial benefit) and 3 successful non-medicated VBACs. My husband was exactly what I needed him to be when we gave birth and his joy and participation in our pregnancies and birth has overflowed into our success in breastfeeding as well as our perspective on parenting.
