Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome!

You are on a wonderful journey to birth, and birth itself is an amazing process that is transformative in many ways. Through teaching the Bradley Method, I aim to assist women and their coaches to effectively give birth naturally in a peaceful and safe way. The Bradley Method is unique among childbirth classes because it offers a comprehensive education for pregnancy, labor and birth. During the 12-week course, we teach nutrition for a healthy pregnancy and birth, relaxation methods to manage labor without pain medication, the important role of the coach in labor support, and the many interventions of the modern birth environment and how we can work to avoid them. The Bradley Method as taught during the standard 12-week course has been proven highly effective by the many women and their coaches who have completed it:

The Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth standard series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Official Student Workbook is supplied to every couple attending classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A Coach Card is also included. Your local instructor in The Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations.
