Having experienced both medicated and non-medicated labor, delivery and recovery - we can truly vouch for the benefits of a drug-free birth.
My husband and I have had four children (ages 9, 7, 5 and 1) using The Bradley Method® techniques. Our first two children would have been C-sections if not for the knowledge and preparation of our classes.
The classes brought us closer together as a couple. It empowered me as a woman to take control over my birthing experience. I have never felt more alive and over-joyed than at the drug-free births of my children!
The Bradley Method® made a huge difference in our lives and we are excited to share the things we have learned with you.
** I teach part time at BYU and UVU, so if you are considering private classes in the Provo/Orem area, it is easy for me to come to your homes in those areas as well. Otherwise, I live in the Lindon/American Fork area. I WILL BE MOVING TO CEDAR CITY, UT (IRON COUNTY) IN MAY AND WILL POST FUTURE CLASSES IN THAT AREA SOON.

** Classes are small (individual couple classes also available) with lots of participation and individual attention. I use visual aids and videos. I encourage students to check out books and videos from my personal library for research.
** Private classes and refresher courses are also available to meet individual needs.

"I had an epidural late in labor with my first child and, as I reached pushing stage, was not aware enough of my own body to know how hard to push. I was surprised by the pain as the epidural wore off. Because of my painful experience with my first child I was planning to get the epidural as soon as possible with my second. Then Kym called me and asked if I would like to take Bradley classes. Natural Childbirth had been a goal of mine with the first child, but my lack of good training and support made it difficult for me to achieve it the first time. I decided to give it a try again, this time armed with Kym's awesome experience and teaching. She taught us a wealth of knowledge, but the key things that helped me with my second child were learning and practicing relaxation exercises and labor positions, emphasis on your spouse or support person as an integral part of the birth, and of course her personal support at my side during the birth.
