The Bradley Method® focuses on nutrition during pregnancy, exercise to prepare for birth, knowledge about the birth process, information to make informed decisions, and physical, emotional and mental relaxation as the key to pain management in childbirth. We also discuss other labor management techniques such as various labor positions, breastfeeding and bonding. Together we will learn about all these different aspects of pregnancy birth and parenting in and open and respectful environment.
Support is essential to any laboring mother and our goal is to make sure that the mother's coach is as prepared and confident as she is in the natural birthing process. Coaches can be husbands, partners, friends or family members (anyone mom chooses is welcome), and through my classes they will gain the knowledge needed to be supportive birth coaches.
Bradley classes are a great way to learn from other couples and share the excitement of pregnancy and becoming new parents.
Classes range from 1-8 couples and we encourage a fun, open, relaxed and engaging learning environment! Classes are 12 week sessions and will be 2 hours each session.
