Thanks to The Bradley Method, my husband and I were able to have two children born naturally. Our son was born in a hospital with a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) and our daughter was born at home with a Professional Midwife, Parveen Kelly.
Through the information provided by The Bradley Method about good nutrition, relaxation, regular and pregnancy exercises, as well information regarding the stages of birth and how to manage them, our babies had wonderful deliveries. My son was born after eighteen hours of labor, and my daughter after six hours of labor. We heard so many comments on their good health and their alertness that we knew we had made the best choice to avoid pain medication and interventions, and to push through any discomforts that came with labor. We are thankful we found The Bradley Method to give them the best possible start in life.
I became certified as a Birth Educator for The Bradley Method in 2013. Wanting to do more to help mothers have their most ideal birth, I was certified as a Doula through the International Doula Institute in 2018. It has been so rewarding to help many mothers over the years - either through classes or in person - to achieve their childbirth goals. I look forward to continuing to do so in the years to come!
