Home   About Me   My Classes   Why 12 Weeks?   Course Content

The Bradley Method® classes are 12 weeks long and held in my home in the Tyrone area of mid - St Petersburg.  Class sizes are small and intimate for maximum personal attention.

In the first few classes we will introduce important prenatal exercises, proper nutrition, and the importance of keeping yourself healthy so that you can remain low risk throughout your pregnancy.  We will also have a discussion on pain management techniques and how to avoid pain.

As the weeks progress we will begin to focus on the husband or coaches role in the pregnancy, anatomy & physiology of pregnancy, the stages of labor ,  preparing a birth plan, variations and complications during labor and postpartum preparation.

We end our series with classes that will cover advance techniques for all stages of labor including positions, relaxation and labor rehearsals.   Newborn care, breastfeeding and how to handle a crying baby will also be taught during the last class.
