I have been a Bradley instructor for 22 years. I am the mother of 5 children. My first two births were epidural births and I had complications with both. I decided I needed a change before having another baby. My doctor suggested trying a natural birth, suggesting the Bradley Method as his preferred natural childbirth education option. I took the classes during my 3rd pregnancy and knew that this is what my body was made to do. I went on to have my 3rd and 4th babies natural in a hospital, at which point I knew that I needed to teach other couples that there was a better option than medicated birth. My 5th child was born after I became a teacher. Teaching the Bradley Method is my passion and I love helping people learn about the natural process of labor and birth. In my many years of teaching I have helped women dealing with high risk pregnancies, vbac and various other issues, to feel confident in their decision to seek after a natural unmedicated birth. My experiences from offering labor assisting services to my students has given me an array of situations to use in my classes to help new students see the possibilities of achieving their birthing goals.
