Both are proud parents of two Bradley Babies!

"Our daughter, Kaheakulani, was born on June 2, 2005 at Queens Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii. We were very happy that she was able to come into this world on her own time and with all of the support we could possibly give. Our second child, Hokuamau, was born at home with two midwives, a doula, and family.  We would like to help others enjoy the wonderful experience of a natural birth, or just of birth in general! So many people tried to discourage us from our goal of allowing the pregnancy and birth to take its natural course, we personally feel that there is nothing that could have made the experience more personal, meaningful, and enjoyable (yes...enjoyable)!
 

What do I teach?

  • "Tuning-in" to your own body and trusting the natural process.
  • Excellent nutrition leads to not only a healthy pregnancy, but also a healthy labor and baby
  • With practice, relaxation and NATURAL breathing techniques can be effective pain management (National Institute of Health)
  • Being educated about every aspect and procedure of routine childbirth will lead you to make informed choices and promote active participation in healthcare
  • Parents can take responsibility for the safety of the birth place, procedures, attendants, and emergency back-up

A $50 deposit is required to reserve a spot and will be applied to the tuition. 

Tuition includes a Student Workbook, study guides, information on pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, and more. Healthy food alternatives (samples) as well as recipes will be offered throughout the course.

Total tuition is $300.

The Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth standard series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Official Student Workbook is supplied to every couple attending classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A Coach Card is also included. Your local instructor in The Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations.
