I began my training in The Bradley Method® in 1982, and was inspired to become an instructor upon reading an article in Parents Magazine on Dr. Bradley and his practice in Denver, Colorado.

I am the mother of five children, four of whom were born via The Bradley Method®.  Two births occurred in a birthing room within a hospital (OB attended), two occurred  in a birth center (OB Resident & CNM attended), and our last child was born at home (Lay Midwife). We both grew in our knowledge of the natural process of birth, in our personal convictions, and in our confidence that is vital to bring a healthy baby into the world in the best and safest way possible...via The Bradley Method!  There is no greater gift a couple can experience together than the birth of a child.  I love my husband more than the day we married for all his support and love given me during some often times difficult labors and births. 

I have been privileged to attend numerous births as a Bradley labor support professional and as a Bradley coach. I support birth in all environments: hospital, birth center, home. I recognize each woman's labor and birth has similarities to others, yet each is unique and different in how women are empowered through their birth experiences. I  have also witnessed how the presence of a loving, trained coach enhances the birth outcome, just as Dr. Bradley promotes!  Having a baby truly is God's most miraculous experience!

I believe that personal attention and comfort are of utmost priority in a childbirth class, which is why I teach out of my home, thus avoiding the constraints of teaching in a hospital setting.  Classes are kept small, generally 3 - 5 couples per class series.  I also offer review classes for those whose due date extends beyond the ending date of each class series; and I offer a complete series of Bradley classes to those couples previously trained in The Bradley Method®.
