The Bradley Method® helped me give birth to my two sons, born 2001 and 2003, naturally without any drugs or intervention.   I became a Certified Bradley® Childbirth Educator and Doula for my students in 2001 to help other couples have the same wonderful birthing experience and quick recovery that I had. 

My classes are dedicated to providing truthful, research-based information about how the human body works during labor, physically and emotionally.  Women are taught how they can work with their bodies to reduce pain and make their labors more efficient. Partners or support persons are taught techniques to make them a helpful and valuable part of the birth experience. Breastfeeding and Newborn Care classes included. 

The pros and cons of medical procedures in childbirth, including pain medication, are also explained and emergency childbirth is reviewed.  Couples know their options and are empowered to make good decisions about their birth.  It would be my privilege to be a part of such an exciting event in your lives.

 Classes are in a small group setting, limited to six couples, for personal attention.  I use a workbook, handouts, videos, nutrition, exercises and discussion to guide you through decisions about your birth.  Classes held in Riverhead.  Please contact me for class schedules.
