Congratulations on your pregnancy! We are so glad you are considering the Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth.

Before giving birth to our children, I was privileged to assist many families through a variety of birth experiences-natural births free of medical interventions as well as medicated deliveries.

Based on my observations, I knew I did not want an epidural when it came time for us to have our baby.  I needed to know how to give birth.  I researched several childbirth education programs, and the Bradley Method® was a perfect fit for my husband and me.  We learned the importance of teamwork throughout pregnancy, birth and beyond.  We learned about excellent prenatal nutrition, effective prenatal exercises, and the essential skill of relaxation. 

The births of our children were amazing and everything we hoped for.  Two of our beautiful birth experiences were attended by an obstetrician in a hospital-based birth center. Our third child was joyfully born at home with a certified nurse midwife.

Our classes meet once per week for 12 weeks.  Each class is 2 hours in length.  We limit each class to 6-8 couples.  This allows for a relaxed atmosphere and lots of personal attention.  Michelle teaches the majority of the classes, and Chris offers his perspective during classes which focus on coaching.  Our classes are suited for those interested in giving birth at home, in a birthing center or in a hospital setting.

All birth partners are welcome: husbands, boyfriends, mothers, sisters, friends, doulas-whomever you plan to have assist you during your birth experience.

We recently relocated to O'Fallon, IL, but will not be teaching in 2010 because we are expecting our fourth baby in the fall!
