Since 1988 I have taught more than 650 couples the Bradley Method® of natural childbirth. My husband and I took Bradley® classes in 1986 for our first baby, and after a wonderful, natural birth I decided to become certified as a Bradley® instructor. Since then, we have had three more children, all born naturally using the great techniques taught in the Bradley Method®. My babies were born in several settings; birthing centers, at home and in the hospital. Both my instructor training and four unmedicated births have given me a depth of experience that testifies to the fact that this method really works!

Classes include relaxation practice, nutrition for a healthy pregnancy, breastfeeding basics, and labor rehearsals. You will see more than a dozen births on video and receive instruction on postpartum preparation, newborn care, the risk vs. benefit of medication in labor, and much more. Both Moms and Dads will come away from this class feeling informed, equipped and empowered to have natural childbirth. Class size is small and held in the comfortable surroundings of our home in Gaithersburg, MD. We meet on Sunday evenings at 6:00.* The class is twelve weeks in length, then you can continue to come to the next series, at no extra cost, until you give birth. It's recommended that you register for classes as early as possible to secure your space. If class times and dates don't suit your needs, please contact me. I may be able to make other arrangements for you. * There are still a few slots left in the Aug 29- Nov. 21 series (no class Sept. 5) I have opened a 2:00 series in addition to the 6:00.

| The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
