Hello!  Thank you for visiting our website. We understand how important it is to be well informed and thoroughly educated in order to have a healthy pregnancy and a happy birth. We have been teaching since the summer of 2008. We have 4 children, the first was a 7lb11oz Bradley baby born to us in January of 2006.  He was followed by his twin brothers in March of 2007.  They were 5lb6oz and 5lbs12oz delivered by Cesarean section. Our fourth was born 8lbs5oz in October of 2009 at home in the water. After the birth of our twins we decided to start teaching The Bradley Method® so that we could help others experience the beauty of a natural childbirth.

 

The class is a 12 week long course that covers more than just the act of giving birth. You and your husband (coach) will learn about:


Proper nutrition during pregnancy



Pre-natal exercises to prepare your body for birth



Deep relaxation for pain and labor management



Effective positions for pushing



Plus breastfeeding tips and post-partum and newborn care.



We primarily train husbands as coaches because they know you best and because this isn't just the birth of your baby, it is the birth of your family! However there are circumstances where a surrogate coach may be needed and we welcome anyone to accompany you who will be assisting you at your birth.

 

We teach out of our home and live on the border region of Murray, Taylorsville, and West Valley.  The cost is $275 due in full by the 8th week of the series including a $25 deposit to hold your place in class.

The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations.
