Congratulations on your pregnancy!  I am thrilled you are taking an interest in The Bradley Method®.

 When I learned of my first pregnancy I immediately began researching birthing methods.  I strongly believe in education and that having knowledge of things creates choices in our life. I also believed that nature knew what it was doing and so looked into natural birth processes.  The Bradley Method® has been a blessing in my life, and after four unique and wonderful birth experiences, I couldn’t help but want to teach about it.

My goal is to give you all the information you need to make the best choices for your family as well as inspire you to “learn, grow and become skilled in nature’s birth process” (Hathaway).  Through this, you can attain the type of birth experience you want.

Classes are laid back and fun.  We will discuss various topics including birth, nutrition, different stages of pregnancy, labor interventions, relaxation methods, breastfeeding, and writing a birth plan.  We also will give training for coaches to help in the support of the laboring mother.  We will practice our relaxation methods, watch birth videos and play games to test your knowledge. 

There is a lot to cover!  Classes will take about 2 hours, once a week for a total of a 12-week series. Classes will be held in Ooltewah area, time to be announced.  The cost is $250, which includes a Student Workbook, handouts, and access to my lending library.  A non-refundable $25 deposit is required to reserve your place in the class.

It is recommended that you begin The Bradley Method® classes near the beginning of your 5th month of pregnancy.
