Congratulations! Most likely you are looking here because you or someone you know is pregnant.  The Bradley Method(R) is one of the best ways to have a safe, natural, normal birth.  Education is the key to all things in life and childbirth is no exception. Welcome to my site and thank you for visiting!  Thank you for wanting to do the best thing for you and your baby through normal, natural childbirth!  I began teaching the Bradley Method(R) classes in 1999 and have been teaching them ever since. As part of a military family I have had the unique opportunity to teach classes in various parts of America and in Germany as well which has given me eye opening experiences. My husband and I have three beautiful daughters, all of which were born using the Bradley(R) Method. Our first two daughters were born in the hospital with a midwife attending and our third daughter was born at home with a midwife. Our third daughter was a waterbirth - what a wonderful experience that was! From the beginning of my first pregnancy I knew that medicated birth was not for me as it terrified me!  Thankfully I found the Bradley(R) Method at 28 weeks of pregnancy.  I was in the hospital having my baby the day of our last class!  We used Bradley(R) techniques with all of our labors and births, even through back labor with all three of them!  It is so wonderful to go into labor with an understanding of what is coming and then to have a coach 'coach' you through it.  There is no medication so effective as knowledge and support during the process of birth. *** I have taught multiple classes where dad wasn't able to attend -- this is ok!  Feel free to bring a friend, a doula, a family member, anyone you want to go through the process of birth with you.
