Welcome to your birth journey


Thank you for your interest in The Bradley Methodâ of Natural, Husband-Coached Childbirth.  We are excited to help you learn more about healthy pregnancy and childbirth. 


I attended the Bradley Method training in in 2008.  I have taught over 100 couples here in the Richmond area and am proud to have been apart of their birth journey.   


Emily Elliott and her husband, Brad, live in Midlothian, Virginia.  They took the Bradley Method® course in 2004 and have experienced the joy of natural childbirth with all three of their children.  They believe that through preparation, practice, and support, parents can feel empowered to give birth naturally.  It is important to Emily that all parents are educated in what to expect during labor and design a birth environment that feels as safe and comfortable as possible.  Emily is a Bradley® trained Doula (labor assistant) and her work experience includes elementary education, advertising, marketing and child and parent photography. 


After attending the Bradley Method training Emily taught with friend and fellow trainee, Heather Hannon.  They built a very successful Bradley course and taught well over 100 couples.  The success and demand of this course has been a blessing and has granted the opportunity to offer more classes in the Richmond area.

The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations.
