We're so glad you are looking into taking a Bradley Method® Class! You will be thrilled with what you can learn from this class! The Bradley Method® will not only help you achieve the kind of birth you are hoping for, but it will also impact the kind of parent you become. This comprehensive class is designed for either a hospital or home birth and will inform you about staying low risk during your pregnancy,  relaxation techniques to help you maintain strength and composure during labor, informed consent on all interventions, tried and true positions to use, the best nutrition for you and baby, the how to's of breastfeeding, and much, much more! All of this information will help you keep options available when your baby's birthday finally arrives!

When I was pregnant with our first in 2003, Jeff and I took a Bradley® Class based on the recommendation of our midwife. I wish I could tell you the number of ways it has impacted our life. Without this class we may not have had three home births for our children: Olivia (2003), Everett (2005) and Trevor (2008). All three events were life-changing, inspirational, magical, and empowering and we will share more of the details if we see you in a class!!

From the moment our daughter was born, we knew we wanted to share this method with other people. The unique bond that occurs between mother, father, and child following an unmedicated labor and birth is unparalleled. I would love every family in the world to experience it. They would all be hooked on natural childbirth, just as we are!  We hope you'll join us in spreading the joy of natural childbirth by taking a Bradley Method® class for the birth of your expected bundle of joy.

I typically teach on weeknights and try to accommodate all schedules (Jeff will join me for a couple of classes and is always available for questions, but since our family has grown he has to be available for the little ones). Let me know what night works best for you and I'll do my best to build a class around it.  Classes are kept entertaining with videos, discussions, hands-on massage, relaxation techniques, guest speakers, games, labor rehearsals, and visits from previous class members. Class time varies depending on what time works best for all class members, but will usually start around 6:30. Most classes will last 2 or 2.5 hours.

Class cost is $295 which includes 24-30 hours of instruction time, a student workbook, articles and handouts on natural birth, use of a lending library, a large posterboard for use during labor, and an official coach card. I accept payment plans, and also offer a discount for those paying in full by the first class.
