Congratulations on your pregnancy, and thank you for your interest in Natural Childbirth. My name is Heather Hannon, and my husband, Craig, and I have 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl). We are thankful to have experienced three amazing natural births. Childbirth is my passion, and I am proud to say I have been part of the Richmond birth community for seven years and a Bradley instructor for three. To date, I have helped over 100 Richmond couples prepare for the birth of their child. . I believe that birth is a normal, safe event,, and that natural childbirth offers the best possible start for you and your baby. My own experience has taught me that childbirth also has the potential of being incredibly rewarding and even life-changing. In order to have a fulfilling and healthy birth experience you must be knowledgeable and feel encouraged throughout the process. My classes provide you with the knowledge and tools you need to handle the challenges of labor and be an active participant in the birthing process. It is my goal to offer you a well rounded and personalized childbirth education experience that is tailored to fit your needs. My experience as a Bradley trained labor assistant also helps me bring real life examples into the classroom. I understand that every couple is unique and enters this journey with their own special set of needs and circumstances. OB or midwife, hospital or home...the choice is yours. There is no right or wrong way to give birth. You are the most important part of the equation, and when you feel secure and good about the options you have chosen, you are more likely to have a rewarding and healthy birth experience.personal and friendly It is my goal is to assist and support you and your wishes. Bradley classes helped my husband and I grew closer as a couple and taught us the skills and knowledge we needed to be active participants in the birth process and have a rewarding and healthy birth experience. My husband and I were overwhelmed with the immense positive impact The Bradley Method® had on our lives. Because of this life affirming experience it became our passion to share our wisdom and experience by supporting and empowering others to trust in the birthing process. | The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
