Ever since I had my first daughter and used the Bradley Method® seven years ago, I was amazed by how well my husband was able to support me while I was in labor. I really felt like I could not have done it without him. I walked away from that experience feeling very empowered. If I could give birth naturally I felt like I could do anything.
That experience and the three following have only brought my husband and I closer together, all because of the information and the techniques we had learned in our Bradley® classes. |
I teach the Bradley Method® of Natural Childbirth which is a system of natural labor techniques in which a woman and her coach play an active part. It is a simple method of increasing self-awareness and teaching you how to deal with the stress of labor. I urge my couples to find what is comfortable for them in labor. Instead of seeking to control the sensations of labor with distraction methods, I encourage you to trust your body using natural breathing combined with relaxation. My classes are video enriched and include a class taught by my husband Travis so the coaches can hear from an actual coach his perspective on labor. I also offer an extensive lending library which you may take advantage of. |
Classes are 12 weeks in length and meet every Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 in Liberty Lake. I recommend starting classes when you are approximately 25 weeks, so we can be sure to get all the classes in before the baby comes! | The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
