Hello! My name is Dee Anne Lane. My husband, Ryan, and I had a wonderful birth with our son, Jonathan in June of 2007. (And we did it without any pain medication!) We were first introduced to The Bradley Method® by friends in Seattle, Wa. They had achieved two natural births successfully and told us, "If we can do it, so can you!" When we found out we were expecting our first child, we immediately began looking for a Bradley® instructor in Northeast Louisiana. There were no teachers (of any kind of natural childbirth) in our area. We eventually found a teacher in Shreveport and began traveling 1.5 hours (one way) to attend classes each week. It was well worth it! Through the Bradley® training we received as a couple, we had the tools, information, and confidence we needed to do what was best for our baby and our family. What an awesome realization that my husband could be such an integral part in the birthing process! After our son was born, I realized that our area needed a Bradley® teacher. It is my desire to let couples know that there are other options besides medicated births. My husband and I would love to show you how you can birth naturally, too...the Bradley® way! |
My next class series will be held on Tuesday evenings beginning August 24th. Classes are taught in West Monroe, La. Classes are kept small to provide individual attention. Classes are enriched with videos and labor rehearsals. You will gain information on nutrition, exercises, labor/birth, relaxation techniques, coach's training, positive communication, birth plans, breastfeeding and much more! |

| The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
