 | I have been certified since 1994 and have trained over 400 couples. I became interested in natural chidlbirth after seeing Dr. Bradley on television when I was in high school. Hearing him speak about natural birth and reading his book when I was just a teenager, ignited a spark that encouraged me to learn more. Twenty-three years later I was able to put his practical and commonsense method to personal use! I have two daughters and am active in the birth community of Western North Carolina. I am very excited to work with all types of families and I welcome diversity. |
Learn how to avoid unncessary pain in labor! You and your partner will learn simple, practical techniques of deep relaxation and natural breathing. My classes encourage your full participation in the choices made regarding pregnancy, labor, birth and family life. You and your partner will feel well prepared and educated even in the event of complications. Your classes will teach you skills that you can use during labor and beyond into your every day life. I teach the standard 12-week series and include films about parenting, pregnancy, or breastfeeding in most classes. Classes are kept small (5 couples max) and are taught in the relaxed atmosphere of my home. Discussions are encouraged. Tuition includes the Student Workbook. Payment plans are available. All students have access to my extensive library. I will open additional classes on another evening as needed. I also accommodate those needing classes during the day, who need to meet on weekends, or those who prefer private classes. | |

| The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
