FOR ME, experiencing a natural birth with my son was one of the most empowering experiences I have ever had. I went into my birth supported by my wonderful birth team. I reflect on this life-changing event often and could not be happier with the choices made with the knowledge I had.

WHERE ARE CLASSES HELD AND WHAT ARE THE FEES:
FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE CLASSES FOR THE HARD-to-PLAN, THE BUSY and the HURRIED
Currently I am only providing private and semi-private classes. These would be taught in your home or mine and are perfect for unpredictable/difficult schedules like with frequent travel, etc.


This structure also works out well if you know someone else who is also in need of classes and has a busy schedule. We can set up a very small class for just 2-3 couples with customized, flexible dates and times. These have also been some of my most exuberant classes when both (or all three) couples are close friends or siblings who are also expecting.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN MY CLASS:
These classes are designed for all types of births offering up-to-date, scientifically founded, unbiased information.

We cover all aspects of a normal, healthy pregnancy and birth. We cover how to avoid being high-risk as well as many variations and complications that may arise. We discuss in detail informed options for differing situations so you can be the most prepared.

I show several DVDs in class including actual footage of labor and birth to compliment the curriculum. In addition, we cover postpartum care and thorough breastfeeding instruction. I am also a Bradley® Birth Doula with varied experiences as a professional. I strive to give you, as my student positive tools to be empowered through the birth that you want.

In addition to receiving a Bradley Method® Student Workbook and many awesome handouts, I have an extensive lending library of phenomenal books for those avid readers. I also have many DVDs I can lend out since there is just not enough time in class to show them all.

Many Insurance companies and flex-plans will reimburse for the cost of these classes. They are also tax-deductible. I am more than happy to provide adequate receipts for submission and encourage all students and clients to submit a receipt to their Insurance Provider.

The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations.
