Hello. Congratulations on your pregnancy and welcome to our site. I have had the honor of teaching Bradley Method® classes and working for students as a certified/affiliated Bradley(R) Doula since the incredible birth of our first child in 2000. Matt and I grew so much through our pregnancies and births. We knew we had to take the training and become affiliated Bradley teachers ourselves. We love what we do. It is a blessing to watch couples grow together and to go on to share the most exciting privilege they will ever know...birth. |
We teach on Wednesday nights from 7-9:30 pm. Our students receive twelve units of instruction, a Bradley Method® class workbook, Dr Robert Bradley's Book; Husband Coached Childbirth, a notebook filled with related research, a lactation class, pregnancy related samples, access to our lending library of films and books, and a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. We will help with developing your ideal birth plan. We offer a full list of supportive care providers in your area. Weather you choose to birth at a hospital, freestanding birth center, or with a homebirth service, we can help you find the right care provider for you. You also get continued phone and e-mail support, before, during, and after the birth of your baby. We are very pleased to host an annual summer reunion party where you can get caught up with your classmates and make new friends. The party gets bigger every year and is a proud reminder of the important work we do. It was an amazing experience to birth naturally. Coming into Tina and Matt's Bradley(R) class with the history of an epidural, episiotomy, and preeclampsia with my first birth, I had my doubts that "I" could birth naturally. Not to mention I am the type of woman who would prefer to be put to sleep for a cavity filling. After just one Bradley(R) class my husband and I knew it was for us and I had such faith in my body. | The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
