Welcome to the personal web site of
DANA PASE AAHCC

If you are viewing this site, then congratulations are in order! Pregnancy can be a very exciting as well as an anxiety provoking time. So many choices to make, and I can guarantee you there is no better start than enrolling in a Bradley® class. We had our first son using The Bradley Method® in March 2004. We were so impressed by the wealth of information we learned in our Bradley® classes, and so happy with our labor experience, that I chose to become an instructor.

The Bradley Method® also helped us to prepare our 3 year-old to share in the pregnancy and home birth of the newest addition to our family in January 2008.

I did not have an easy first labor, but our Bradley® training prepared me to manage my labor with the active support of my husband and empowered us to make educated decisions throughout pregnancy, labor, and even after birth. In addition to learning about the natural process of labor and birth, we learned about optimal nutrition during pregnancy – and how it affects your baby as well as your labor experience – and I learned how to prepare my body for birth and excellent postpartum recovery with special exercises to tone and condition the muscles to be used. We also had no idea there were so many options to consider and choices to make to ensure that we would have the birth experience we wanted. Our Bradley® classes helped us to learn about all of these issues so that we could make fully informed decisions that were right for us.

One of the best things about The Bradley Method® is the special effort given to training dads to be an active participant in the whole process, beginning in pregnancy and continuing through labor and beyond. Quite often the dads seem to enjoy the classes even more than the moms because it helps to make the process less of a mystery and gives them a sense of confidence in their role. I feel that attending a Bradley® class series together during pregnancy is an excellent way to give your baby and family the best possible start.

Bradley® classes are for you even if dad is unavailable to attend. It can be highly beneficial to choose a substitute coach who can "mother" you, such as a sister, mother, or close friend. You may also attend alone if need be.
