Hello! Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website! My name is Jen. I had a beautiful Bradley Method® natural birth in 1998. Giving birth to my son was the most incredible, spiritual, and empowering experience of my life! Having my husband as my coach to support me throughout the birth experience deepened our relationship, and it truly felt like it was the birth of our family! In class, we learn about the importance of staying healthy and low risk so you have more choices available to you. We learn about nutrition, exercise, the natural process of birth, share information on how to avoid unnecessary pain, and share ways to handle positive pain. Husbands/Partners are taught how to support a mother in pregnancy, how to be an effective coach during labor and birth, and how to be her advocate in labor. I use many visual aids, games, most of our classes are video enriched, and each week we practice a new relaxation exercise. Classes are held on Wednesday evenings from 6:30- 8:30 pm. We meet at the Spokane Midwive's Birth Center located at 127 E. Euclid. Your 12 week series of classes includes 24 hours classroom instruction, your Student Workbook ( 1 workbook per couple), coaching cues guide, coaches quick-reference guide, and access to my lending library. The course fee is $275, with a $50.00 non-refundable deposit due when you confirm your enrollment. Financial aid and payment plans are available. | |

| The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
