The Bradley Method® aims at giving you and your baby the best possible start in life together: A natural birth. A birth guided by your body's own rhythms, rather than by drugs, fear and unnecessary medical intervention. Far more than a set of simple rules or techniques, the Bradley Method® is a comprehensive program combining exercise, nutrition, education and close communication between you and your trained birthing coach. Bradley® encourages an active, responsible participation in all birthing plans and decisions. You have options, alternatives and rights in your child's birth, but only to the degree that you are aware of them. A truly natural birth is not an impossible or superhuman event. It does not require extraordinary willpower or fananticism, but rather a clear understanding of how your own body is naturally equipped to give birth under normal circumstances. We have been teaching since 1988 and have taught over 400 couples. We are the parents of six children, we have used the Bradley Method® with all of them. We have birthed in many different ways; hospital, homebirth, birth center, husband attended, cesarean and home VBAC. |
Our next class will be starting on Monday, May 10. The class goes from 6:30 to 8:30-9 p.m. Week six will be taught by Bill. The cost of the class is $175 and we ask for a $50 deposit two weeks before the class starts.

| The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
