When my husband and I found out we were pregnant, we wanted nothing but the very best for our new baby. We strongly desired a natural birth so we took the Bradley Method ®. We felt so prepared and confident when the birth arrived. The birth of our baby boy was the most beautiful experience of our lives.
Learning how to give birth naturally is one of the greatest gifts you can give your baby. I look forward to being apart of your journey and creating the birth that you and your baby deserve. |
Class Content and Themes
I teach that birth is a natural and normal experience; not a medical procedure.
Women were created with the ability to give birth,it is not something to be feared. My class focuses on natural labor techniques through relaxation and regular abdominal breathing. A relaxed body experiences less pain, less fear, and can reduce complications. Each woman has different desires in labor and it's in this class that you learn what works for you personally. Natural childbirth is safest for both Mom and Baby, and is empowering and rewarding for both parents. We teach the parents how to be active participants in their child’s birth and how to advocate for their desires. We teach the importance of the coach and ways for him to support the Mom through all parts of labor, through physical,emotional and mental relaxation techniques.
My classes are kept small and personal. (max of 7 couples) Class Fee is $250 ($50 deposit to hold your spot in class) The following $200 is due on the first night of class. If finances are an issue please contact me and we will work something out. Payment plans are available with prior arrangements. My assistance as a labor support is available to all those who take the class if desired. I teach personal classes to those that would like me to attend their birth as a Bradley doula. I offer to my students an extensive lending library of books and videos. |

| The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
