| I am excited to share the joy of childbirth with you. Being a mother of two, and taking my Bradley certification through the American Academy of Husband-Coached Childbirth I have an strong knowledge base of the birthing process. My husband and I were able to have our children in the comfort of our home. These experiences have motivated me to share. Through the Bradley Method® we discovered ways to deal with the stresses of labor, together. I have learned that the attitude and knowledge of a couple can directly influence their birth outcome. I believe education is the key to making informed decisions, this is why I am a teacher of the Bradley Method®. Please join me in discovering the wonderful journey of pregnancy & birth. |
| The Bradley Method®, also known as Husband-Coached Childbirth, teaches expectant parents the preparation needed for a women and her coach play an active part in their birth. My course covers a variety of topics that assist couples in decision making, pain management, and the general birthing process in order to allow them to have the most positive labor experience possible. My classes are kept to small groups of no more than 6. Classes focus on the importance of excellent nutrition, exercise, and relaxation techniques in order to have the safest birth possible. I am certified to teach by the American Academy of Husband-Coached Childbirth. I am a Bradley R Doula and provide support to couples in labor/birth. | The standard Bradley® series is designed for small classes with lots of individual attention. The standard length of the classes is 12 weeks covering 12 units of instruction. The Student Workbook is included in classes. It is 130 pages with over 75 pictures and illustrations. A coach card is also included. Your local Bradley® teacher is an independent affiliated instructor. Some classes are video enriched and offer a Certificate of Congratulations. |
