Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I am currently on maternity leave and am not teaching classes.

Natural birth is a wonderful gift that anyone can give to their baby. It's also a fulfilling and empowering experience!
The Bradley Method® is one of the oldest methods of natural childbirth and over 86% of Bradley® students nationally have unmedicated births!
The Bradley Method® begins with teaching: nutrition, pregnancy exercises, relaxation, how to avoid unnecessary pain in labor, support during pregnancy, and anatomy and physiology.
Later, we will focus on: how your body works throughout labor and birth, comfort measures and labor positions, writing your birth plan, and support through labor and birth.
Lastly, the Bradley Method® teaches complications and variations, postpartum preparation, support during postpartum and beyond, breastfeeding, and caring for your newborn. (This list is meant to provide an overview of topics covered and is not a complete list of everything taught in class.)
Classes are 12 weeks long and I suggest you start them around the 26th week of pregnancy so you can complete the full series before your birth. It's important to have ample time to implement the exercises, nutrition, and relaxation. Additionally, this time is important to communicate with your care providers about your needs and desires well before your baby is born.
What past students have said about my classes:
"Attending the Bradley® Classes really gave me the confidence and basic knowledge I was looking for. I knew I wanted to do what was best for my baby but wasn't sure of what all that entailed and the internet had many conflicting ideas. The Bradley® Classes really helped lay out the information effectively. I also feel that it really helped make my husband aware of what my body was preparing to do and how he could help."
"Ditto what my wife wrote! I loved the class and found the whole course, especially tracking her diet, super helpful!"
-Cierra and Daniel Bakke
"Stacey seemed genuinely enthusiastic about the process of natural childbirth in general and The Bradley Method® in particular. She was a great resource as we prepared for, and went through, the process of labor and birth. We had made it through class 11 when the time for birth came. At the time we were worried whether we had done enough in terms of preparation to have the kind of outcome we wanted. As it turned out we had learned a tremendous amount. While challenging, the birth was a wonderful experience. We felt confident and ready and the health care professionals we encountered were impressed by how prepared we were."
-Annie and Patrick McGowan, St Joseph, MN
"I cannot imagine going into labor and delivery, and ultimately taking care of my newborn without this knowledge! I recommend the Bradley® course to any mother, first time or last time! Why not enter labor and birth with confidence, strength, anticipation, and joy?!"
"As a product of natural birth and my mother being a midwife who personally gave birth to 13 children by natural birth, Bradley® Class inspired me a lot. Every single piece of the class was extremely important for the life of the baby, the mother and the whole family. Now, I feel I am completely equipped to face the real day!!"
-Yoel Ghebreamlack (Clinical Therapist)
"I wanted a natural birth but wasn't sure how to prepare for it. The class has made me not only confident but also excited for labor. Stacey did an amazing job teaching the course."
"Before taking the class I had very little knowledge about natural birth, or birth in general. During the class it was obvious that this is an in depth, comprehensive course on childbirth. Afterwards, I am really glad we took it because of the relief I feel knowing we are the best prepared we can be. You get out what you put in, but if you do your homework, this class is as valuable as gold."
