The birth of your baby is a precious event like no other. Whether your first baby or your fifth baby, it is the birth of a new family. Greg and I welcomed our fourth beautiful child in June of 2008 and have been blessed to experience natural childbirth as well as birth with medical interventions and we are convinced that a healthy pregnancy and natural, unmedicated childbirth is the best gift you can give to your new baby. We are passionate about spreading the word that natural childbirth works and is an incredibly joyful experience. Our goal is a healthy mother, baby and family. We want couples to feel educated, empowered and confident. If we can help even one baby receive this precious gift of natural childbirth, we have done something truly worthwhile. Congratulations on your pregnancy. Your desire to give your baby a natural birth is a wonderful gift and it is my pleasure to journey with you in that endeavor.
Our classes include information on nutrition during pregnancy, breathing and relaxation techniques for labor, alternatives to medical interventions, breastfeeding, postpartum and newborn care. We stress the value of your partner as labor coach and advocate. We will spend ample time rehearsing effective techniques for labor and provide current, research-based information on aspects of nutrition, medications, interventions, etc.
Classes are $275.00 and include an official student workbook, the entire series of classes for you and your partner, a lending library with books and videos, and 24/7 access to me via phone and email from the time you register until after your baby is born and breastfeeding is established.
A $50.00 deposit will hold your spot in class and the balance of $225.00 is due the first night of class. Please feel free to contact me about a payment plan if finances are an issue.
