Classes start often and I teach weekends, weekdays and evenings.
Course content includes the standard curriculum and is tailored to meet each student's needs.
Small group and private classes are available.
Classes are taught in a Bellevue location that is close to surrounding cities - Seattle, Redmond, Kirkland, Renton, Issaquah etc.
My classes have an emphasis on....
Supporting and mentoring moms and birth partners
Teaching tips, tools and techniques to promote deep relaxation and coping skills throughout labor and birth
Providing informative and interactive classes that foster knowledgeable, confident and successful students

Staying healthy and low risk during pregnancy to ensure couples have more choices in childbirth
Maintaining and improving nutrition for mom and baby's health
Avoiding drugs throughout pregnancy, labor and birth
Inquiring and educating yourself during your pregnancy
Learning about labor tools and techniques, practicing relaxation and breathing
Tuning into your body, trusting your instincts and the natural process of labor and birth
Taking responsibility for safety and healthy birthing choices, pregnancy, labor and birth plus postpartum care and recovery
Preparing for unexpected situations
Bonding as a family and having continuous contact with baby after birth
Being educated about breastfeeding (knowing it's benefits and resources to ensure breastfeeding success)
Immediately breastfeeding after baby is born providing baby with needed immunities and nutrition
Being consumers and creating a positive experience through being educated and commited to goals, practicing learned techniques, preparing to the best of your ability, maintaining a positive attitude and relationships with your birth team, doing the best you can AND HAVING FUN!
