My class will take place at my home on Tuesday evenings 6-8:30. Each class will consist of looking over your nutrition sheet, a brief review of the last class, going over previously assigned homework, addressing questions or concerns and learning new material from the next chapter. I will also show some videos, use some visual teaching aides, and as well allow time each week for relaxation practice. You and your coach will be expected to complete each section in your student workbook as well as read some highly recommended literature, so you can get the most out of each class, remember your baby deserves the best! That being said, I am not going to grade you or judge you if you don't complete every assignment, I know life happens. Doing a little work each week will give you greater knowledge and power to enable you to have the birth you have always wanted and prevent your precious baby from having to endure the many consequences that result from having a medicated birth.
Giving birth is like an athletic event, and like all good athletes, you and your coach need to properly prepare for the big day. Through personal attention, I will teach you all you need to know about nutrition, safe exercises to help prepare your body for labor and birth, and all the information you and your coach will need to help ensure success before, during, and after labor and birth (whether you are planning to have a hospital or home birth).
