Classes are taught in a series of weekly classes that last for about 2.5 hours in Rowlett, Texas.
Due to COVID classes are now available virtually too! Call to learn more.
In class you can expect lots of one-on-one attention and time to ask questions or address any concerns you may have. We will have group discussion time, review lessons, view educational & fun videos and look at other visual material. We will do educational games to keep things interesting, work on various helpful positions to utilize in labor and birth, practice relaxation techniques and work on developing better communications skills with our partners and healthcare team. We will go over nutrition and ways to stay low risk, dispelling the myths in pregnancy and birth while helping you to embrace your changing body.
While we will cover a lot, I promise to keep it positive and upbeat! By the time we are done with our series, it is my hope that you will feel excited and confident to give birth while more knowledgeable about your options in birth and in newborn care! :)
