My most important goal is for you: that after baby is in your arms, you, as parents, feel you've had every opportunity to be active participants in the process of learning and birthing, knowing you were supported... and made the very best decisions you could in your individual circumstance.
Much of what I do is "un-teach" our cultural fear of childbirth. I love what I do. I love to see women become confident in skills that are of benefit for a lifetime. Additionally, I have seen that most men really want to know that the father's role is key, and that he is able to make a big difference during this pivotal time in your lives together. That said, all pregnant women are welcome and encouraged, with whomever will be the coach/partner.
This class helps you as mothers and fathers learn a variety of effective pain relieving techniques through deep relaxation, massage and optimal positioning.
Classes balance practical information, positive communication skills between parents and their healthcare team, and much more.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of participating in over 300 births, including several sets of twins, and one vaginal breech. I flew to Seattle just in time to be there as my sister and her husband had their baby girl at home, and now our own oldest daughter and her husband are enjoying their first Bradley® classes!
