I am a happily married mom of 4 boys, ages 15, 11, 7 and 1 who light up my life. I completed my Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education and my Bachelor's degree with an emphasis in Business, Health Studies and Sociology. I have taken multiple classes to help me offer more information to my students in topics including: women's health, early childhood, sociology, childbirth instruction, doula work and breastfeeding.
While I stay busy being a mom, wife, and working as a doula and lactation support too; I have an amazing enthusiasm and love for being a childbirth educator! I have been doing it for over 10 years now and still love every opportunity I get to serve a family.
I have experienced a medicated hospital birth with my first son, an unmedicated hospital birth with my second son, an unmedicated birth center birth with my third son and a homebirth with my fourth son then successfully breastfed all four.
Through my experiences I became aware of how much is often unknown in our society when walking through the transition into motherhood. It has instilled in me the desire to support women & families in the informed birth experience of their choice.
