The Full 12-Week Series

What does the series include?

• • Bradley® student workbook

  • 2 tickets for each of 12 virtual class sessions for you and your chosen birth partner (a comprehensive pregnancy, birth, and postpartum program)

  • Newborn care booklet, pregnancy nutrition tracker, coach quick reference guide and birth affirmations

  • One in-person (or virtual if preferred) one-on-one meeting before your birth to discuss your birth plan and any other questions you may have

    • Note: I am happy to work with you regarding payment.  I believe all families should have access to childbirth education.?

  • Unlimited text, phone, and email support before during, and after birth?

• $75 deposit required before first class

• Tuition may be paid at once or over time. I'm happy to work with you.

Class Content:

• Finding the right medical team and deciding where to birth your baby

• Choosing a pediatrician and how to conduct a pediatrician interview

• Health during pregnancy

• Exercises designed for birthing

• Nutrition (including one-on-one support, if desired)

• Ranges of normality (weight gain, labor signs, full-term babies, etc.)

• Birth plan guidance (includes one-on-one outside of class support)

• Supporting your partner while they give birth

• What to expect during labor (stages and comfort measures for each)

• Practice for labor and birth

• Relaxation and comfort measures for labor

• Labor positions practice

• How your birth partner can support you

• Labor variations and complications

• Preventing cesarean

• Knowing your body 

• Feeling empowered

• Advocating for yourself and your baby

• The postpartum period

• Breastfeeding (including demonstration)

• Caring for a newborn (diapering, swaddling, sleep, feeding, concerns)

When should I take one of your series?

You can take my Bradley® series at any time during your pregnancy.  To attend the full series, you should consider starting class at least three months before your due date.  Because you will learn to practice for the birth of your baby, an earlier start is even better.

What if I desire a private childbirth class with my birth coach?

I am happy to teach privately.  Please contact me to discuss.
