Hi! My name is Marissa. I am a stay-at-home mom, passionate about all things birth and baby. When I became pregnant I knew I wanted a natural birth, and since the Bradley Method® has a 90% success rate I knew it was the training for me. My husband and I used the Bradley Method® for our daughter’s birth in 2021 and I can say the decision to take Bradley Method® classes and have a drug-free natural birth, was one of the most important decisions I’ve ever made. Like so many, I was terrified of birth, but once I began the Bradley Method® classes I soon became excited and optimistic. Just two classes in I knew I was going to birth our daughter with love and confidence. We felt prepared, calm, and in control throughout our entire labor and birth. It was the most joyful experience, as I caught her and brought her to my chest to nurse immediately. We used the Bradley Method® again for our second daughter’s birth in 2023 and had another wonderful birth experience and postpartum.
After our experience, the countless benefits of natural birth are abundantly clear to me. I believe the Bradley Method® is the best way to have a healthy pregnancy, wonderful intervention free birth, and give your baby the best and healthiest start. I was deeply impacted by my own birth experience that I decided to become a Bradley Method® teacher to help all moms and dads to have a joyful birth too. The birth of your child is a memory you will have for the rest of your life.
