I have been a certified natural Childbirth Instructor/Doula of The Bradley Method® for the past 31 years. I am additionally certified through DONA International as a Doula and certified through UCSD in Lactation and certified through Spinning Babies. I educate couples using the Dr. Bradley's techniques through the AAHCC who deliver in all settings i.e. home, birth centers and hospitals located in and around Orange County.
I have two children. With my first child I went through hospital classes and ended up with an induced labor at 41 weeks due to the doctor's policy; I didn't know that I had choices. After researching various natural childbirth methods with my second pregnancy, I chose to take a series of Bradley classes. My second child was born at 41.6 weeks gestation naturally without medication or intervention. Comparing the two methods, the difference was night and day! The Bradley Method® of natural childbirth works!
We are gonna have fun!!! I love my job educating clients so they can make choices that will benefit them and their baby. I enjoy supporting them in the decisions that they choose to make.
I attend as a Doula about 10-18 births each year, so I am very familiar with most doctors and midwives in the area and having a healthy working relationship with them. I love all aspects of welcoming a child into your home and continue to educate myself to stay current in all aspects of pregnancy, labor, delivery and lactation.
